We are pleased to announce that the 8th International Conference on Electric Power Equipment - Switching Technology (ICEPE-ST2027) will be held in Niigata, Japan, from May 30 to June 2nd, 2027.

ICEPE-ST 2027, after seven successful conferences held in Xian, China (2011), Shimane, Japan (2013), Busan, South Korea (2015), China 2017, Kitakyushu, Japan(2019), Seoul, South Korea(2022), and Xiamen, China(2024) has been established as the reference point for the exchange of knowledge and experiences in switching technology of electric power equipment.
We are confident that this conference, as well as previous ICEPE-STs, will be a forum of exciting discussions for our community, and we look forward to your participation and sincerely wish you a fruitful conference and a memorable stay in Niigata, Japan in May 2027.

GUIDELINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Authors are invited to submit an abstract for presentation at ICEPE-ST2027. All abstracts must be written in English and submitted through the online submission system by August 28, 2026. The abstract should be up to 300 words and should clearly describe the objective of the work, the methods used, the principal results, and the main conclusions. Figures, tables, and references should not be included in the abstract.
The following information must be provided during submission:
Title of the contribution
Names and affiliations of all authors
Name and e-mail address of the corresponding author
Name of the presenting author
Relevant scientific or technical topic
Each abstract will be reviewed for its technical content, originality, clarity, and relevance to the scope of ICEPE-ST 2027. Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent to the corresponding author by September 28, 2026. Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to submit a full paper by December 4, 2026. Abstracts may be revised through the online submission system until the submission deadline. Incomplete or late submissions may not be considered.
